REGULATION OF 2011 AWARD INTRANET PORTAL

(Updated on 05/07/2011 just to adjust the dates depending on the extension of registration period)

1 - Value Proposition Award

1.1 The Intranet Portal Award 2010 is in its fourth edition and is an initiative of the Institute Intranet Portal ( www.intranetportal.org.br ) that supports many features such as SBGC, ABRADi, APADi, Journalists Web, and KMOL We Communication, among others.

1.2 The Prize Intranet Portal has two main objectives:

1.3 Elect inspiring examples;

1.4 Identify and disseminate good practice;

1.5 Promote learning from the benchmarking assessment that generates;

1.6 Provide rich moments of networking;

1.7 Identify, recognize and reward outstanding professionals and companies in this market;

1.8 Demonstrate the real value of intranets and corporate portals for business.

1.9 will be distributed twelve trophies, including two Grand Prix (best case of private initiative and best case of the public / third sector) and three trophies for the top finishers in the "Collaboration", "Content" and "IT Integration", Newest addition to the trophy "Special Award" this year focused on the choice of the best "Social Intranet".

1.10 The assessment of cases based on the criteria defined by the Advisory Board of the Institute Intranet Portal, which is composed of representatives from academia and the market. The Council has no knowledge of the cases submitted, no interference on their evaluation. The choice of winners is made by a team of independent judges.

1.11 The judges evaluate cases with full autonomy, being the only ones fully aware, before the end of the process, the content submitted.

1.12 The Award is based on a self-sustaining, in which the value of subscriptions (contribution rate) covers all costs for judges, trophies, administrative procedures, taxes etc. There is sponsoring vendors for the award itself, although there may be due to the events, when the winners are already defined.

2 - Who can participate

2.1 Any institution, organization or company (whether public, private or third sector), of any size, you can sign up, guarded the rules defined below.

2.1.1 Multinationals may participate provided there, the governance structure your intranet or corporate portal, the active participation of a core national territory, influence and / or autonomy in decision making at the regional level.

2.1.2 will be accepted cases departmental large organizations since typically horizontal. You must also be satisfied that the universe according to at least one of these conditions: 1) cover, directly or indirectly, two or more areas, 2) meets, directly or indirectly, to a minimum of 300 users.

2.2 To compete, the case must meet both the following criteria:

2.2.1 Present typically horizontal approach, which also prevails focus on information management and knowledge.

2.2.2 Present approach typical B2E (business-to-employee - facing employees, typically intranets), E2E (employee-to-employee, characterizing social networks or corporate intranets social) and / or B2B (business-to-business - aimed at business partners, especially extranet), a priority.

2.2.3 Having a universe of users acting, mostly with common goals of business, in the same organization or as part of a value chain.

2.2.4 To promote the integration of systems, easy access to content and / or the collaborative process in the business environment.

2.3 In contrast, NO registrations will be accepted for

2.3.1 Typical cases of primary focus in the model B2C - business-to-consumer - in which the sale or channel to the final consumer is the ultimate goal (usually those who have the exclusive presence on the Internet);

2.3.2 Environments that are characterized by the exchange of information and knowledge, but do not develop joint activities to achieve a business goal (eg, communities of interest);

2.3.3 Environments where predominantly focus on web marketing and e-business;

2.3.4 Environments focused on specific vertical and a proposal for a single area, department or process.

2.4 Only the organizations receiving the digital environments in question may submit their cases (suppliers can not perform the registration on behalf of clients, although they may encourage them to do it aa as well as help them in building the case).

3 - Benefits of the participants and winners

3.1 With a single subscription (not one per category), all participants are entitled to:

3.1.1 Competing in both categories and in three Grand Prix in its class (public or private) and the Special Award, which involves 12 trophies, as already detailed - which gives rise to widespread recognition;

3.1.2 Receive, at the end of the process, a feedback report with the analysis of the jurors;

3.1.3 Priority for participation in the Awards Cocktail. Transportation and lodging expenses paid by the participating institution.

3.2 The top three finishers in each of the three categories (Content, Collaboration and Integration in IT) and the two winners of the Grand Prix National Referrals will be considered the year 2011, obtaining the following additional benefits:

3.2.1 Trophies delivered at the awards event in agosto/2011.

3.2.2 Wide dissemination of its case, including any invitations to present him at events.

3.2.3 Participation in a book-collection, organized by the Institute Intranet Portal.

3.3 Additionally, the champions of each category and two winners of the Grand Prix and the Special Prize winner will win a year's membership in the Institute Intranet Portal, free, Bronze in the category (or discount equivalent to the upgrade to this category categories Silver, Gold or Platinum / Maintainer), the Profile "Client Organization / Female user" unless the case is a case of a company known to Supplier when you can take advantage of that benefit, but in profile "Supplier", your choice .

3.4 The winners of each category (including the Special Award) and the winners of the Grand Prixs also agree at the outset to make every effort to attend events organized by IIP for dissemination of good practices (dates will be agreed in due course).

4 - Structure of the Award

4.1 The cases will demonstrate the added value for their respective organizations, showing the results for the business.

2.4 We will only consider the features, content and environments effectively deployed by June 2011.

4.3 The model from Gartner ("Portal, Content & Collaboration"), defined three sets of evaluation questions for the Grand Prix, namely, IT Integration, Content and Collaboration.

4.4 These questions are broken down into several items, validated by the Advisory Board of the Institute Intranet Portal (the full list of questions, which is on the Portal of the IIP, is considered part of the Regulations).

4.5 To the questions also correspond individually award categories.

4.6 Thus, twelve awards will be distributed as follows:

4.6.1 Two Grand Prixs - the best case and best case private sector non-private (government, third sector and others).

4.6.2 Three trophies (first, second and third places) in the Collaboration category.

4.6.3 Three trophies (first, second and third places) in the Content category.

4.6.4 Three trophies (first, second and third places) in the category IT Integration;

4.6.5 A Special Award trophy, this year devoted to identifying the best "Social Intranet".

4.6.5 To choose the winners there will be a technical evaluation and other results, the latter always with the greatest weight.

4.7 will also valued the evolution of the environment within one year immediately before registration of the case.

4.7.1 If the jurors decide that none of the competitors had the appropriate level of quality or do not meet the basic requirements, the Institute Intranet Portal has the right not to grant one or more prizes.

4.7.2 Also by appointment of the Judges, the Office Intranet Portal can give Honorable Mentions to cases not won in their categories, but which deserve attention.

5 - Application Process and Evaluation

5.1 The procedures for pre-registration and registration run parallel from 02/03/2011 to 07/20/2011 (already extended).

PRE-REGISTRATION

5.2 The pre-registration is free and without obligation (the candidate may decide not to comply with the other process steps), conducted solely through the form available at http://intranetportal.org.br/wp/premio-intranet-portal/ edicao-2011/pre-inscricao /.

5.3 The purpose of this step is to generate a race and give more support for the candidate to work on the detailed construction of their cases.

5.4 Within 72 working hours after the pre-registration, coordination of the Prize will send a statement to the candidate, stating whether they are able to participate in the next step.

5.5 As soon as approved at pre-registration, the candidate can make your final registration, which details the procedure is the next item of this Regulation.

SUBSCRIPTION

5.7 After being approved in the pre-registration, the applicant has until 7/20/2011 to send a message to the e-mail info@intranetportal.org.br communicating:

5.7.1 Its free interest in participating in the next step, Registration;

5.7.2 The contact information (name, title, email and phone) responsible for the operation of such subscriptions (eg, HR or purchasing department).

5.8 This email feature and full acceptance of the Regulation shall, automatically, the Institute Intranet Portal to start the process of collecting the contribution rate of R $ 3,200.00 (three thousand and two hundred reais) competing against the institution, according to the payment method selected.

5.8.1 In this docket will include a $ 300.00 discount for early payment, to be implemented until 31/05/2011.

5.8.2 Payment may also be made through bank deposit, PagSeguro (including credit cards, installment or otherwise) or Note of Commitment (the latter shall prevail, regardless of date, the amount of R $ 3,200.00).

5.8.3 Participation in the following steps if the award is subject to confirmation by the discharge of their duty (or opening of the commitment, in the case of public organizations).

5.8.4 The payment entitles you to submit a single case and compete in all categories.

5.8.5 If the same company or organization wants to submit more than one case (eg, departmental intranets that meet the criteria for participation), will make a separate application for each.

5.9 The contents of the cases is the sole responsibility of the institution that entered.

5.10 Confirmation of interest in participating in the process, from the email sent by the head, is effective commitment, through the organization, from that moment, to be indebted to the contribution rate, even that will not comply with the following steps the award.

5.11 In addition to the ticket for payment of the contribution rate, the coordination of the award will send a kit with instructions for building the case, made ​​the link to access a form with multiple choice questions and open, and to build a template with ppt screens intranet / corporate portal - both mandatory.

5.11.1 The form will have a multiple choice question for each of the evaluation criteria, which make up the questions (see appendix), as well as open questions that seek to capture information from the company, the history of the portal and the business benefits achieved.

5.11.2 The file ". Ppt" (Powerpoint) print screens should contain descriptive content or functionality. It is desirable that is recovered the features offered by software such as animations, highlighted elements and description, and even audio narrations. The maximum limit is fifteen (15) screens;

5.12 The evaluation process will be divided into two stages: 1) the choice of the Grand Prix and 2) the choice of winners from other Catetorias. We will detail each of these moments below.

5.13 The first step involves the definition of two winners of the Grand Prix and take place in two steps: 1) the definition, from the marks awarded by the jury of six finalists, three among the cases of private companies and three of non-private, 2) conducting Web conferences with these six finalists, while another set of notes will be assigned (the big winners will emerge from the sum of notes, subject to the weights specified in this regulation).

5.16 The second stage of the process involves the definition of the category winners in Collaboration, Content Integration and IT (first, second and third places in each) and the Special Award. Excluding the winners of the Grand Prixs, the jury will consider the remaining cases and, according to the marks awarded, directly determine the winners.

5.16.1 In these categories, there is no impediment to a winner is chosen if enrolled in more than one (eg if the second event taking place in Content and Collaboration in the first, take the two trophies).

17.5 In any of the steps may be other contacts with those responsible for cases via e-mail, or telephone conference call, at the discretion of the President of the Jury.

5.18 The Jury will assign grades for each case according to the following rule:

5.18.1 For the definition of the finalists of the Grand Prix and the other category winners, 50% of the grade will come from the technical evaluation and 50% of proven value to the business.

5.18.2 In the definition of web conferencing to Grand Prixs, each item of evaluation (Content, Collaboration and Integration in IT) will have 15% weight (totaling 45%). The results will be worth 30% of grade. The remaining 25% come specifically from the qualitative research with users.

5.19 The six finalists for the Grand Prix will be announced in July 2010. Have the big winners, as well as the winners of the trophies of other categories will only be disclosed during the Closing Cocktail on August 18, 2011.

20.5 In the event of a tie in any of the categories or positions, the President of the Jury shall be entitled to a casting vote (if a case has already been awarded in another category, should give priority to the case that has not expired).

5.21 If evidence is found to include elements other than the true reality of the case at trial, it will be summarily disqualified.

5.22 The communication Intranet Portal and / or jury might happen with candidates by phone, audio or video conferencing, e-mail or in person. The charge indicated at registration, should be allowed to officially respond to all questions.

6 - Role of the Jury

6.1 The cases submitted will be evaluated by an independent jury chaired by renowned professional clear.

6.1.1 The panel will consist of three well known ability of professionals, each focused on evaluating the categories and criteria related to their expertise.

6.1.2 Depending on the number of cases registered, the number of jurors can be amplified.

6.2 The judges shall be guided by the criteria of the Advisory Board of the Institute Intranet Portal, in the Annex to this Regulation.

6.3 Each juror signed a commitment, from which are expressly prohibited from:

6.3.1 Distribute in any way or hypothesis, the contents of the cases;

6.3.2 To judge if there is a conflict of interest (such as having worked on the project). On this occasion, the question will be judged only by other jurors.

6.4 It will be solely and exclusively to the jury the task of analyzing cases. The jury is sovereign and his judgment can not be appealed at all.

7 - Final

7.1 The Institute Intranet Portal, non-profit organization duly registered, based in Sao Paulo-SP, organizer of the award, reserves the nonexclusive right to display and discuss the entries in universities, schools, seminars, conferences or any other event, in Brazil or abroad, as well as make them available to their associates Profile "Client Company" in the categories and the way in which this benefit is expected.

7.2 The copyright of the work will be granted by all participants (both those who have only pre-register and those who completed the final application) to the Institute Intranet Portal, which will publish them on the website of the Institute, in full, edited or as part of other content, and vehicles of support organizations and associations, as well as others, regardless of the format chosen and the media in Brazil and abroad. The award is valid for five (5) years from the date of award.

7.3 will never publicly disclosed the marks awarded by judges to cases participants nor the list of competitors (only the finalists and winners will be named and released), except for those associated with profile "Customer", which will have exclusive right of access to cases with the sole purpose of benchmarking and learning and can not reproduce or distribute the content thereof.

7.4 Issues not covered by this Regulation shall be settled by the Institute Intranet Portal, along with the Jury Prize in 2011 Intranet Portal.
